The most succesful Punjabi film herione in the 80īs. Her first apperance was in an Urdu film Waadey ki Zanjeer, but she became the most famous actress in the the Punjabi films. She had major roles in mega-hit films Sher Khan and Chan Waryaam and played side-role in Sala Sahib. All three films were dimond jubilee hits and were released on the same day - an unique record, which she shared with her century partner hero Sultan Rahi, her playback voice (singer) Melody Queen Madam Noor Jehan and Musician Wajahat Attre. Other great films on Anjumanīs credit are: Mufat Bar, Waryaam, Shan, Dostana, Sahib Jee, Qudrat, Dehshat Khan, Lal Toofan, Sholey, Dhee Rani, Qismat, Mendi, Wadera, Qaidi, Dulari, Janbaaz, Roti, Mela, Mazdoor, Insaniyat key Dushman, Kali Charn and Chohdrani. Her comeback as herione in recent time was not succesful.
Anjuman had record 117 film with Sultan Rahi and the largest number of diamond and platinum jubilee films by any film heroine.
Anjuman was one of the most successful Punjabi film heroines of Pakistan. She is the No 1 pakistan punjabi film heroine, Anjuman came from Multan to Lahore. Her first appearance was, however, in the Urdu film, Waadey ki Zanjeer. she had the figure of a traditional Punjabi Mutyaar, which suited Punjabis at the time that's why she was more successful in Punjabi Films.
