She acted in a lot films in India like Ghaibi Tara and Chiragh husn (1935), Ailan-e-jang (1936), Praim samadhi and Mudhar milan (1938), Mairi aankhein(Mazhar khan), Murad (jay raj) and Daughters of India (Jay raaj 1939),Koun kisi ka (1939), Musafir, Andhi and Dharam bandhan(1940), Baiti (1941), Tiag (1942), Taan sain (KL Sehgal), Zameen and Nurse (1943), Shehansha baber (Shaikh Mukhtar) and Mumtaz mahal (Chandar mohan 1944),Parbhok ka ghar (Tirlok kapoor 1945), Phulwari (Motilal) and Maharana partab (Ishwar lal 1946),Koun pardaisi, Mitti and Aagey barho(Devanand) (1947).
