Kanwal Toor is a popular model, television anchor, and actress for Bollywood and television. She participated in the Femina Miss India in the year 2001 and later went on to represent her country in the Miss International 2001.

Personal life

Toor studied statistical analysis and graduated in Psychology. She started her career through modelling and has modelled for various brands, such as Pepsi, Mercedes-Benz, LG, Gillette, and Yamaha. She also appeared in a music video, a remix of "Vada karon choroge na ye haath".

Acting career

Kanwal hosted the show Filmi Fever, which aired on Zoom TV. She acted in TV serials and made her debut in the film industry through the critically appraised Bollywood film Cheeni Kum among well-known actors like Amitabh Bacchan and Tabu. Kanwal now lives in Mumbai with her baby daughter. She currently works for Credit Suisse in Mumbai.
