Anmol Malik is a playback singer in Indian movie. She is the daughter of music director Anu Malik.

Early life

Anu Malik never thought he would have children after his wife had 4 still births.

He received a note from the doctor while sitting outside the Operation Theatre for the fifth time. The handwritten note stated this was a 'precious' baby.

And on 5 February 1990, Anmol Malik came into the world.

As a child she was always interested in music and would sit on her father's lap while he worked in the studio. Under the guidance of her father, she learned the harmonium and the piano.

Secretly she started voice training herself using cassettes and CDs of popular singers.

Anmol made her Indian playback singing debut in 2006 with the movie Umrao Jaan
