Gohar Mumtaz is Pakistani singer, composer, musician, actor and guitarist and he becomes popular due to founding member of the rock band, Jal. He was born in Lahore and also completed his education from there. When he was on bed due to his injury for six months, he started practicing music. He gave attention to rock, pop and sufi rock. He performed as singer, composer, lyricist, actor, guitarist and he released his three albums like Aadat, Boondh and Pyaas. He gave the sound tracks to different dramas including Tanhai, Dil Jhoomay, Pyar Hai, Rona Nahi and Khel Sajna. He attended the Coke Studio and sang the songs of Ik Aarzu and Panchi in which Qurat ul Aine was his co singer. He showed his great talents in the music and he left great imprints in music.
