Born on September 29, a Libra, Jawad perhaps judges everyone and tries to balance everything probably due to his horoscope. He is a mechanical engineer by qualification and singer by choice who belongs to an educated family, as his parents teach Political Science at local colleges.

His rebellious looks and lyrics have a deep-rooted background. His elder friends, struggling in professional lives got him thinking in monetary terms long before boys of his age do. By the end of school he became rebellious arid decided education was superfluous.

Jawad became a professional singer when he was president of the musical society in an engineering university, where three bands ruled the roost: numero uno was Jupitets followed by Wet Metal and Music Math, Jupiters saw him performing at UET and Naeem Saeed of Jupiters offered him the vocalist's job when Ali Azmat quit them.

He accepted as they were the biggest band around and ten to fifteen thousand a month was like heaven for a student. After singing for six years with them, Jawad started working on his debut album and quit Jupiters in 1997. He wrote lyrics, composed music and sang himself.
