Sanam Marvi is Pakistani folk and sufi singer and she sings the songs in the Saraiki, Sindhi and Punjabi languages. She was married to Aftab Ahmed Kalhoro in 2006 but she was estranged from her husband, who died after two years. Then she got married with Hamid Ali Khan and she has three children. She got the training of music from her father, Faqeer Ghulam Rasool at the age of seven years. Her father was also Sindhi folk singer. After that she got the training from Ustad Fateh Ali Khan of Hyderabad, Sindh and she also learnt a lot from the folk singer, Abida Perveen.

Sanam Marvi made her debut in singing in 2009 at Virsa Heritage, which is the music program on PTV and she also performed at Coke Studio, which is the live music performances and she did the sufi concerts across the world. She is considered as the third best performer of Sufi, ghazal and folk after Abida Perveen and Tina Sani. She made the live concert in singing the debut in 2012 and the concerts were conducted at Paris, London and New York along with Ali Zafar and Hadiqa Kiyani.
