Shafqat Ali Khan is classical singer and he started getting training of music at the age of seven years. he got training from his uncle, Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan and father Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, who are the globally well recognized singers of their times. Pakistan National Council of Arts paid the tributes to the classical singers, Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan and Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. Shafqat Ali Khan has shown his performance not only within the country but also at the global level so various media and critics acclaimed their classical music talent. His forefathers used to sing their songs in the courts of the emperors and they also performed their concerts across Europe and he released his albums with different titles in different countries. He is the well known artist in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Shafqat Ali Khan received the Pride of Performance award from the President of Pakistan in 2009.
