Vijay Yesudas Kattassery (Malayalam: വിജയ് യേശുദാസ്; Tamil: விஜய் யேசுதாஸ்; born March 23, 1979), commonly credited as Vijay Yesudas, is an Indian playback singer, who has sung songs in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Tulu and Telugu.

Early life

Vijay Yesudas was born in Chennai to legendary singer K. J. Yesudas and Prabha. He studied in Chennai and later in the US. He is the second son in the family, having an elder brother named Vinod and a younger one, Vishal.

Career

Vijay Yesudas started learning classical music in early 20s. He has sung many songs under the Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Personal life

On January 21, 2007, he married his long-time girlfriend Dharshana in Thiruvananthapuram. He has a daughter named Ammeya.
